Vintage watch by Fortis, a Swiss watch manufacturer founded in 1912, renowned for the quality of its movements and its watchmaking expertise. This women's model perfectly embodies the jewelry-watch aesthetic of the 1950s and 1960s, a period during which Fortis offered timepieces that were both technical and elegant.
The watch features a round, gold-tone case, enhanced by a faceted crystal that captures the light and adds depth and reflections to the dial. The dial, light in color and satin-finished, is subtly punctuated by gold-tone hour markers and signed Fortis, along with the Incabloc designation, indicating a high-quality shock-resistant system, characteristic of well-made Swiss watches of the era.
The integrated bracelet is a true work of jewelry: a finely textured chevron (leaf/wheat-ear style) link, supple and elegant, which firmly places this piece within the world of jewelry. The watch can thus be worn as much as a timepiece as a refined piece of jewelry on the wrist.
The piece bears a “G with a tower” hallmark, indicating a high-quality gold plating, often referred to at the time as “gold lacquer.” This type of finish, used on high-end jewelry watches, corresponds to a thick gold plating, polished and then protected, designed to offer better durability than standard gold plating.
The case back is made of stainless steel, conforming to Swiss watchmaking standards.

Dimensions
Dimensions
With the VINTAGE, finding your size is not always easy.
Indeed, the sizes listed on the labels do not often correspond to the reality according to the origin of the garment.
As an indication, we mention a size based on the measurements of the garment.
To avoid unpleasant surprises, measure a garment of the same style flat and compare it to the measurements listed in the description above.
Washing & Care
Washing & Care
A subject close to our hearts.
These wonderful garments have stood the test of time and yet they are in very good condition. How?
Not only were the manufacturing methods and the raw materials used of another quality but our grandmothers knew how to maintain a garment so that it lasts. p>
To help you perpetuate this knowledge, you receive with each product a little card which tells you how to take good care of your new beauty.

My Unique Shoulder Pad Creations
Made from vintage fabric, these accessories, inspired by antique designs, are handmade by me. Curtains, linings, damaged clothing... nothing goes to waste.
Where do clothes come from?
I hunt for pieces individually from private individuals in French-speaking Switzerland.
What is Vintage?
An item can be considered vintage if it is more than 20 years old. If it is a recently produced item that resembles an old garment, the term retro is used.
How can I be sure of the size?
The dimensions are always listed in the product details. Of course, the best option is to try it out in the showroom. I'd be happy to reserve an item for a few days while you wait for your visit.
Where is the showroom?
The Showroom is located in the historic town center of the town of Aigle. Parking spaces are available just a stone's throw away.
